This course is DMV certified

The program consists of at least 30 hours of instructions (equivalent to 36 fifty-minute periods) and includes components about alcohol safety, drug abuse awareness, aggressive driving, distracted driving, pedestrian and bicycle safety, handicapped parking, fuel-efficient driving practices, motorcycle awareness, and organ and tissue donation awareness as required by law.

The Virginia-approved Driver's Education Knowledge Course is required for all students. You can take it before or after receiving your learner's permit.

 

If you failed the learner's permit test 3 times, this course will satisfy your 3 Fail requirement as well as your Driver's Education Classroom requirement.

 

In order to be successful in this course, we suggest you must be comfortable and able to work independently using a computer.
